We are a social Adelaide running group, running in and around the CBD

About

The Adelaide Running Crew is a social running group aimed at helping members achieve their running goals.

We do this through group training sessions conducted in a supportive atmosphere. All members of our group have different running goals and abilities - from purely social runners right through to those training for half and full marathons.

It's all about running together, having fun and celebrating each others achievements. It's free to join and train with us.

Training

We run as a group on Wednesdays at 6pm starting in North Adelaide (Start of Uni Loop) and on Saturdays at 8am starting from a range of locations in and around the CBD. See below for full details about our runs.

Intervals - Wed 6pm

Wednesday sessions have been temporarily halted due to COVID-19.

We have decided to cancel the Wednesday night tempo training sessions until further notice. In the interests of the continuing good health of all our members and their families, we have taken this step to adhere to current best medical advice to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

Wednesday sessions often involve large groups of runners within close proximity of each other, with increased breathing rates and perspiration as the sessions develop. This may facilitate virus transfer between individuals.

We will update you all as soon as we have advice that indicates that it will be safe to resume the sessions.

Stay healthy, use common sense, and maintain perspective at all times.

Meet at 8am for a 8:10am start.

Following the run we usually head in to a nearby cafe for breakfast. However, due to COVID-19 we will not book for coffee or breakfast afterwards - the choice to stay after the run will be left up to individuals.

Stay healthy, use common sense, and maintain perspective at all times.
